Development Introduces Aubrey Station
In this ever-changing
economy, home builders are adapting to the shifting conditions and needs of the
housing market. McCullough Design Development (MDD), San Diego’s premier estate
home builder, is no exception.
Known for designing
and building single level estate homes, MDD announces an exciting project, a
brand new development of 3,000 square-foot homes in Poway. Located near Old
Poway Park, the development named Aubrey Station will feature a quaint
cul-de-sac of six single-level homes. Designed with clap-board siding, dormers,
and white picket fencing, the homes will fit perfectly into Old Poway’s
restored turn-of-the-century look, like a neighborhood straight out of a Norman
Rockwell painting. MDD plans to showcase the new model home by early January
2013.
McCullough Design has
become expert at building the exceptional ‘hard-to-find’ home by consistently
producing single story homes with economical designs that focus on putting the
square footage where it is most used. Continuing with this theme, the Aubrey
homes will provide their classic great room; composed of an entertainment-sized
kitchen that overlooks the enlarged café dining nook and opens to the family room,
with a sports/media room adjacent to this area. These spacious areas, used most
by family and friends, dominate each home’s design. They have four bedrooms,
one of which is a secondary private suite that is perfect for
multi-generational living, guests, or returning college kids. Conveniently,
each bedroom will have direct access to a full bathroom. These homes also
include a fully fenced yard and landscaping.
As a builder of estate
homes, MDD transferred estate features into these smaller homes as evidenced by
showcasing details such as 10-foot ceilings, eight-foot doors, and oversized
baseboards. Amenities continue with natural stone showers, flooring, and slab
countertops, as well as furniture grade cabinetry. The kitchens are equipped
with high-end stainless steel Subzero, Wolf, and Bosch appliances.
MDD has broadened its
efforts to accommodate a wider range of home buyers with these new homes. The
builder has worked diligently to design a “mini” version of their renowned estate
homes as well as to deliver these quality new homes for an affordable price. If
you have always loved homes designed and built by MDD, now is your chance to
join their interest list.
MDD continues to build
its 4,000-plus square foot custom-designed estate homes in Del Sur and other
areas of San Diego. Their model home is located at Gables Crossing in the
beautiful Del Sur valley, just minutes from the SR-56 and I-15 freeways. It
resides in one of the highest rated school districts and fastest growing
communities in San Diego. The model home displays some of the design features
that will show up in Aubrey Station, and is open Saturday and Sunday, noon to 5
p.m.
