4-Car Garages

THE GARAGE...    We know that you need your space.  We want to  ensure that you have enough space for all of your vehicles, your "toys", your tools and your guests with 4-car garages and capacious driveways.    G arage interiors are designed to have enough space for a workshop or additional built-in storage.      Leave the garage floor in its natural concrete form or coat it with an epoxy finish.  Choose from a variety of coatings and colors and even add some floor art!  (Don't worry, you don't have to be a Packers fan.)  Our garage doors come in a variety of styles and mediums.  Options are endless - from pre-stained fiberglass to solid wood doors - intricate or just functional. We pay attention to details and make sure your house is beautiful from the tip of your driveway to the back fence.  Select from a variety of colored concrete and paver hardscape to make your driveway as welcoming as your home will be.     We can even build you a motor home garage,

How We Build Your Dream Home - Part 3

Building your own home is such an exciting process!  We have already purchased our land, graded it, laid a sturdy foundation and framed the home.  Now for Part 3 – Roof sheathing and felting! Now that the house has been framed and the walls plumbed, the framers can install shear panels on the walls.   Sheer panels installed on frame. The next step is the roof, which begins with trusses.  Trusses are pre-fabricated, triangulated wooden structures used to support the roof.   Trusses are usually built and then lifted onto the house with a crane. Crane lifting pre-built truss. Trusses not only enrich the look of the home, but also are incredibly strong and allow more features inside the home.   Trusses that span a large distance will transmit all of the weight to the exterior walls so that none of the interior walls are “load-bearing”, which opens up more options to the interior design.   Trusses also allow interesting features like cathedral ceilings.

The Del Sur Community

MDD's premier housing development of Gables Crossing is located in the beautiful Del Sur valley. We are excited to be a part of a growing community in this economy!  Del Sur is not just a growing community, but it is an extraordinary community with quaint neighborhoods, 6 new parks, hiking trails, top-rated schools, new shopping, and scenic views of Blackmountain to the south and hot air balloons across the western skyline at dusk. View of Blackmountain from Gables Crossing Typical Evening at Gables Crossing in Del Sur Join us this Saturday, March 19th as the community of Del Sur celebrates "A Day in the Park" with the grand opening of 2 new parks and 3 brand new neighborhoods!  Come visit Gables Crossing and these new neighborhoods to get a feel of what our Del Sur family can offer.  For more information about "A Day in the Park", visit www.delsurliving.com/ and for information about Gables Crossing, visit www.mddhomes.com/ or just stop by our mod

Custom Designed Bathrooms

One of my favorite features in the custom homes we build are the bathrooms.  Each one is as unique as the home owner that picked it out.  Personality always shows through in their selection of sinks, faucets, bathroom tiles, backsplashes, boarders and decor.   Our clients choose from a variety of beautiful, high quality Moen and Kohler plumbing fixtures or they can find their own brands that we will install. Pick from a variety of undercounter, self-rimming, bowl or pedestal sinks. Undercounter Bathroom sink Self-Rimming Bathroom Sink Bowl Sink Pedestal Sink Pick your countertop.  The most popular choice is marbled granite, which comes in a variety of colors.  Pick your tile accents and backsplashes.  Whether your taste is retro or classic, you can pick tiles that fit your liking.  Mix colors, sizes and shapes to add patterns and texture. Sink tile accents often match the shower accents.  You can always mix and match! Master Bathrooms are my favorite!
