Getting Closer...

The first phase of our Seascape project is nearing completion and we are preparing for our grand opening in January!  Here you can see the stone veneer detail on the homes as well as the dual colored stucco with paver stone being prepared and laid.       This week fences are going up and then the homes will be landscaped.    We are excited about this new development and the new model home!  Be sure to mark your calendars for January 10th & 11th 2015 for the grand opening of Seascape!

A Fond Farewell

McCullough Design Development is packing their (model home) bags and moving to Encinitas for the winter!  For a short time, MDD will be focusing on their Seascape development, located on an ocean-view ridgeline in Encinitas!  Join us in January 2015 for our grand opening, but until then we look back at our time in Del Sur... In 2006 Monty McCullough and his team started building a community of custom homes on a little street off of Camino Del Sur and Artesian Road in Black Mountain Ranch's Del Sur, in what soon came to be known as Gables Crossing.       MDD continued to build steadily in Gables Crossing during the housing market boom and subsequent fall.  Moving from one model home to the next, we built out the street and onto the next!  We worked out of several model homes and loved each and every one!            It is a wonderful area that we are proud to have been a part of and we will miss the community of wonderful homeowners whose lives we have been

Transitional Fireplace Surrounds

Construction is still underway at our Seascape Project in Encinitas and we excited about the Grand Opening of our new model home there in January 2015.  As the interiors are leaning toward a more transitional look, the fireplace surrounds are integral to manipulate the look of the rest of the home.  So far, we have put in one simple precast and one wall of ledge stone hung vertically!  They are both unique and look fantastic.  Be sure to mark your calendar for January to see these in person!
