New Model Unveiled By MCCULLOUGH DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

McCullough Design Development opened the doors to their brand new model home last weekend, January 14th and 15th for their Grand Opening celebration.  The model bursts with evidence of their innovative architecture and their ability to build custom estate homes for this new economy.

MDD produces these high quality single story homes using economical designs that focus on putting the square footage where it is used most.  Opting out of unused living rooms and formal dinning rooms, they focus on entertainment sized kitchens, large café dining nooks, open beamed family rooms, and outdoor covered veranda rooms; these spacious areas dominate their home’s architecture.  The designs also include a Sports & Entertainment room near the kitchen - family room area, an ideal place for video games, working out, or just watching a good football game.  Their bedroom suites are measured to fit large queen or king sized bedroom sets and have their own private bathrooms and walk-in closets.  The homes have plenty of walk-in storage closets, accommodating all your luggage, linens, and oversized comforters and don’t forget about the Costco-sized pantries.  Their homes come complete with fully landscaped yards, 4-car garages, and paver-stone driveways.  Most of their homes are 4000-7000 sq ft, being built for approximately $175-225/sq ft, thus being competitive with distressed sales of similar type homes, but the MDD home buyer is getting exactly what they want and not settling for something that is dated, poorly designed and not well built.

With their unique business model and their cutting-edge architectural designs, the McCullough team has now become San Diego’s premier estate home builder.  Starting with one of their computerized floorplans, the design team tweaks and alters it to fit their client’s list of needs, wants, and budget.  The company makes it an enjoyable experience for their clients, designing and building these homes in about a year, leading them through every step of the design-build process - from financing and finding the perfect lot to a completed home.  New Clients are invited to knock on any front door of the 25 or so recently completed homes on the streets of Gables Crossing and ask how they enjoyed their experience building with MDD, thus showing this company pays close attention to quality and reputation.

MDD offers several 1 acre + lots from Poway, Santaluz, to Del Mar, including 4 brand new lots across the canyon from their model home in the picturesque Del Sur valley at Gables Crossing. They also offer their design - build custom program to clients who have their own lot or want to buy a lot elsewhere.

The Tuscan Winery architecture of their Model Home embraces you as you walk through the paver-stone courtyard and foyer.  Once inside, you step into a beautiful, spacious, and integrated kitchen - café nook - family room with an open beam ceiling above you.  Through the new lift-and-slide disappearing French doors you will find the outdoor covered veranda room with an outdoor kitchen, tv, and fireplace, all perfect for San Diego’s outdoor climate.  Even if you are not in the market for one of these estate homes, take the model tour and see what home designs will look like in the years to come.  Also tour their picture art gallery of architectural floorplans inside the model as the first step for those who would like one of these beautiful estate homes for themselves.
